Girikon Employee Spotlight Series: Pramod Kumar
According to former CEO and chairperson of Xerox - Anna M. Mulcahy "Employees who believe that management is concerned about them as a whole person – not just an employee – are more productive, more satisfied, more fulfilled. Satisfied employees mean satisfied customers, which leads to profitability and credibility of an organization."
As
an employee centric organization, Girikon seconds this thought. With this we strive
to delve a bit deeper to understand the coalition of our employees with the
organization.
This
month we shine the spotlight on one of the oldest member of the Girikon Family Mr.
Pramod Kumar. Let’s take a walkthrough
of his more than a decade long journey, his experiences and accomplishments in Girikon.
‘No one is a born leader – leaders are created. To accomplish
our goals, we need to hone our skills regularly and adopt a problem solving attitude’
– Pramod Kumar (Technical Architect)
1.
What attracted you to join Girikon?
Being
a Core Salesforce company, Girikon provided me the right platform to work on
Salesforce based projects. As a Salesforce professional, I couldn’t have asked
for more as the companies that work around Salesforce are limited.
2. What
do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job, describe your job?
Besides
having sound technical knowledge and skills, I am pretty comfortable coordinating
with clients as well as managing a team. My ability to pay attention to detail allows
me to bring quality and precision to my work be it preparing technical
documents, handling client meetings, designing and providing training sessions.
3.
What motivates you to go above
and beyond at work?
I
strive to align organizational objectives with my own goals. For me successful
accomplishment and execution of a project works as a big motivation for me.

Who inspires you?
My
mom has been my role model, as well as my inspiration. Though, she had limited

It
actually feels like an achievement, in fact, a milestone which very few people

that has always motivated me to keep going, follow my dreams and living up to
my potential.
10.
What advice do you have to give to strugglers in this field?
I
would rather quote them as newbies rather than strugglers. One mantra that I

which glued you here for that long?
Well!
Umm… are so many things but most importantly, I would say “my superiors”. It’s
because of their trust and support I managed to remain here for so long. I
think everyone wants to be a part of a culture where everyone respects each
other’s opinions and I am fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful team.
16.
Your Mantra which you believe in?
I
believe in an organizational set-up, goals and objectives could not be
